Landscape Manager

Bloch’s Farm is looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape Manager to lead our landscaping and maintenance crews. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working outdoors, and can keep people and projects organized.

Our team creates and maintains beautiful landscapes throughout Green Lake and the surrounding communities. Projects range from planting beds to property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily landscaping and maintenance operations, including crew schedules, assignments, and project timelines.
• Lead, train, and support crew members while setting clear expectations for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Work alongside crews to install and maintain landscapes and hardscapes.
• Read and interpret landscape plans and guide crews through proper installation.
• Coordinate plants, materials, equipment, and deliveries so crews are prepared for each job.
• Communicate professionally with customers about project progress, questions, and concerns.
• Assist with site visits, estimates, material ordering, and tracking labor and project costs.
• Inspect completed work and address issues promptly.
• Oversee the safe operation and care of trucks, trailers, machinery, and tools.
• Keep job sites and work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate regularly with ownership about staffing, scheduling, and project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape installation, maintenance, and crew leadership.
• Knowledge of plants, proper planting practices, and landscape care.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and machinery.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust schedules as needs change.
• A dependable work ethic and professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of outdoor landscaping work, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Hardscape installation experience is preferred.

We offer annuals, perennials, native plants, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, herbs, and custom containers. Our landscaping team designs, installs, and maintains outdoor spaces of all sizes, from home gardens to extensive landscapes and hardscapes.
