Job Summary

Bloomistry is looking for a Landscape Technician to join our team in Ashland, VA. No experience necessary; we're looking for someone self-motivated and hard-working who wants to grow their horticulture skills. If you're eager to learn the trade and build hands-on experience working with plants and landscapes, we'd love to have you on our team.

Duties

• Assist with landscape installations, including plantings, mulch, hardscaping, and general site work
• Learn proper techniques and best practices for horticulture and landscape maintenance
• Work alongside the Crew Lead and other team members to complete daily job site tasks
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized worksite
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• Prior landscaping experience is preferred but not required
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Interest in growing horticulture and landscaping skills
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work outdoors in all seasons
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools, power tools, and grounds equipment operation
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
