Landscape Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will manage a team of crew members, coordinate landscape maintenance and hardscaping construction projects, and ensure the highest standards of groundskeeping and horticulture practices. Your leadership will drive project success, promote safety, and foster a positive team environment. Duties

• Supervise and manage landscape crews, assigning daily tasks related to lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance
• Oversee hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of groundskeeping equipment and landscaping tools
• Coordinate irrigation system installation, repair, and management to optimize water efficiency across sites
• Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; implement horticulture best practices
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols during all outdoor work activities
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining compliance with all safety standards
• Manage project timelines, materials procurement, and quality control to meet client expectations
• Lead team training sessions on equipment operation, plant identification, landscape techniques, and safety procedures
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment maintenance, and project progress

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, hardscaping construction projects, or groundskeeping roles
• Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care, and irrigation systems
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Experience with hardscape installation including patios, walkways, retaining walls or similar structures
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly
• Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
