Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine grounds.
• Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of all landscape elements.
• Manage irrigation systems to optimize watering schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient water use.
• Conduct tree trimming, hardscape installation, and grounds enhancement projects to improve aesthetic appeal and safety.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote healthy growth.
• Maintain detailed records of landscape activities, equipment maintenance, and pesticide management for compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices.
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools, power equipment, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping machinery.
• Ability to identify plants accurately and understand horticultural principles for plant health management.
• Familiarity with pesticide management procedures adhering to safety protocols.
• Skilled in the operation of hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and hardscape installation tools.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques including mowing, gardening, tree trimming, and lawn care.
• Commitment to safety protocol adherence while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work involving lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy equipment.

Pay: $23.81 - $28.68 per hour
