Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 2–3 team members
• Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety, and efficiency
• Run and complete a weekly service route on schedule
• Perform lawn maintenance services including mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, trimming, and general property upkeep
• Operate and maintain equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
• Maintain clean, organized trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Ensure team members follow uniform and safety (PPE) requirements
• Communicate with customers professionally and address any concerns
• Utilize company software to manage jobs and routes

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping is required
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of lawn equipment and maintenance practices
• Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license is required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40–50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods

Additional Information

• Full-time position
• Overtime may be required during peak seasons
• This role requires reliability and consistency to lead a successful crew

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
