Landscaping Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality grounds maintenance and landscape installations. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and ground maintenance
• Lead outdoor construction projects such as hardscape installation, irrigation system setup, and tree care
• Manage crew members by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training, and ensuring safety compliance
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles responsibly to complete landscaping tasks efficiently
• Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed
• Oversee irrigation management to maintain healthy landscapes and troubleshoot system issues
• Ensure all work sites adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture with a focus on outdoor work environments
• Supervising or team management experience in landscaping or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and plant identification
• Skilled in operating grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools
• Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple outdoor projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely
• Knowledge of irrigation management, tree care techniques, hardscape installation, and general construction experience is highly desirable
