Landscaping Foreman/Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscaping Foreman/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the beauty of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens and green spaces are healthy, vibrant, and well-kept. The Landscape Foreman will play a crucial role in creating and sustaining beautiful outdoor environments.

Duties

• Be able to manage a staff of 15 people
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing debris.
• Care for trees and shrubs through pruning and fertilization.
• Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
• Maintain garden areas by planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation as needed.
• Supervise and lead a team of groundskeeping staff to ensure high-quality work standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.

Skills

• Proficient in tree care techniques and practices.
• Strong knowledge of garden maintenance including planting, watering, fertilization.
• Ability to maintain various landscapes through effective landscaping practices.
• Experience in building landscape features that enhance outdoor spaces.
• Leadership skills to supervise team members effectively.
• Strong groundskeeping abilities with an eye for detail in maintaining outdoor aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Bilingual preferred
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
