Laparoscopic Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Laparoscopic Technician to join our IVF Center in Lahore – New Garden Town. The Laparoscopic Technician will be responsible for assisting in laparoscopic and other minimally invasive surgical procedures, ensuring the proper handling and functioning of surgical instruments and equipment, and maintaining infection prevention and patient safety standards in the operating theatre.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and the OT team during laparoscopic and other surgical procedures.
• Prepare, check, and arrange laparoscopic instruments, equipment, and accessories before procedures.
• Ensure the proper functioning, handling, and maintenance of laparoscopic equipment.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and safe storage of surgical instruments as per established protocols.
• Maintain the readiness of laparoscopic equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and OT protocols.
• Monitor instrument availability, stock levels, and equipment-related documentation.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists, OT nurses, and other relevant staff to ensure smooth procedural workflow.
• Follow established protocols for handling and troubleshooting laparoscopic equipment.
• Maintain proper records of equipment checks, sterilization, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a relevant qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in laparoscopic surgery, preferably in a hospital or IVF setup.
• Practical knowledge of laparoscopic instruments, equipment, and their handling.
• Knowledge of sterilization, infection prevention, and OT safety protocols.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
