Large Format Press Operator

The Anstadt Company is looking for a hands-on, dependable, and motivated Large Format Press Operator to join our 1st shift team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, keeping production moving, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time.As a Large Format Press Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department, including operating and maintaining large format printing equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and adjusting workflow throughout the shift to keep production and fulfillment goals on track.Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand job specifications, artwork, and production requirements based on job tickets.
• Operate large format press equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Understand press capabilities and determine the most efficient methods for meeting customer expectations and production requirements.
• Perform daily and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operator-level equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Operate routing tables and perform post-press finishing tasks, including grommet application and laminating.
• Utilize RIP and cutting software and make minor adjustments as needed to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor workflow and make adjustments throughout the shift to keep production and fulfillment goals on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, production protocols, and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Support and lead team members effectively while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous digital printing or large format printing experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve operator-level issues.
• Experience operating production equipment and/or finishing equipment preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed job specifications and production instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting and leading a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Safety-minded with a commitment to maintaining a safe production environment.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
