Laser Assistant

CTF Consoles is a Dubai-based manufacturer of technical furniture and control room consoles. We have 1 opening for this role in our production workshop in Dubai.

Job Purpose

Support CNC laser cutting operations through material preparation, safe handling of cut components and general machine-area support.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload sheet-metal materials under the operator’s direction.
• Assist with machine setup, material alignment and cutting preparation.
• Remove, separate, identify and sort cut parts against production requirements.
• Support deburring and transfer components to subsequent production stages.
• Check components for visible cutting defects and report discrepancies.
• Maintain material traceability, housekeeping and safe working practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–4 years of experience in a metal fabrication or CNC laser workshop.
• Familiarity with sheet-metal handling, material identification and measuring tools.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and follow production instructions.
• Knowledge of safe material handling and workshop PPE requirements.

General Requirements

• Relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication or workshop operations.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions and role-specific quality standards.
• Strong focus on workmanship, productivity, safety and material handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, assembly, finishing and quality-control teams.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing workshop environment in Dubai, UAE.
• Relevant trade qualifications and experience in technical furniture or console manufacturing are an advantage.
• Prefer candidates available for immediate transfer.

Salary: AED 1,500 - 2,000 per month

Candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment as part of the selection process.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
