Laser cutting operator

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and assist in operating CNC laser cutting machines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and cutting layouts.
• Set and load sheet metal/materials as per production requirements.
• Perform basic machine setup, nozzle/lens cleaning, and parameter adjustments.
• Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, and surface finish.
• Conduct first-level inspection of laser-cut components using measuring instruments.
• Identify defects such as improper cutting, burrs, slag, and dimensional deviations.
• Maintain production records and machine-related documentation.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operation.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of CNC/laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good learning ability and attention to detail.
