Laser machine operator

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.

Education Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Candidates with relevant machine operating experience may also apply.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines for sheet metal cutting.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting layouts.
• Set machine parameters such as cutting speed, power, and focus.
• Load and unload metal sheets safely and efficiently.
• Check cut components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of laser cutting machine operations.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
