Laser Production Engineer

TOPTICA Photonics, Inc. is the North American subsidiary of TOPTICA Photonics, SE, a global manufacturer of high-performance laser systems used in demanding applications in science and industry.

What can you expect in the role of Laser Production Engineer?

• Assemble, align, and test a variety of breakthrough laser systems for on-time completion
• Record and maintain data to verify the performance and quality of these laser systems
• Identify technical problems during manufacturing, and contribute to solutions to these problems

Must-haves: What you’ll need for this role?

• Minimum Master’s degree in Physics, Optics/Photonics, or a related scientific discipline required or equivalent job experience
• Prior experience and skill in hands-on work with cw and/or ultrafast lasers and optical techniques
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States

What would be a plus in this role?

• Hands on experience with OPOs
• Experience in a production environment
• Eagerness to grow within the role and continue developing new skills
