Laser Programmer - CypCut Software

CTF Consoles is a Dubai-based manufacturer of technical furniture and control room consoles. We have 1 opening for this role in our production workshop in Dubai.

Job Purpose

Program and optimise CNC fibre laser cutting operations to ensure accurate, efficient cutting of sheet-metal components in accordance with approved production drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process 2D CAD drawings for CNC laser cutting using CypCut software.
• Develop cutting programs and nesting layouts to minimise material wastage and cycle time.
• Configure cutting parameters based on material type, thickness and machine specifications.
• Verify dimensions, material grades, tolerances and drawing revision status before programming.
• Coordinate with design, production and fabrication teams to resolve drawing or cutting issues.
• Monitor cutting quality, troubleshoot program errors and maintain organised, revision-controlled program files.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–4 years of CNC laser programming experience, preferably in sheet-metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in CypCut and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of DXF/DWG files, nesting, kerf compensation and cutting parameters.
• Understanding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet processing.
• Familiarity with CNC fibre laser machine operation and troubleshooting.

General Requirements

• Relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication or workshop operations.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions and role-specific quality standards.
• Strong focus on workmanship, productivity, safety and material handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, assembly, finishing and quality-control teams.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing workshop environment in Dubai, UAE.
• Relevant trade qualifications and experience in technical furniture or console manufacturing are an advantage.
• Prefer candidates available for immediate transfer.

Salary: AED 2,200 - 3,000 per month

Candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment as part of the selection process.

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
