About Inky Siren
Inky Siren is a growing premium tattoo studio based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, specialising in fine-line and micro-realism tattooing.
Since opening, we’ve built a strong local following and growing client base, and we’re now launching the next part of the business: Inky Siren Laser.
We’re beginning with professional laser tattoo removal, with ambitions to expand the department into further laser and skin services as the business grows.
Client experience is at the heart of everything we do. We want Inky Siren to feel professional, welcoming, personal and genuinely different from a traditional clinical environment.
The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Laser Tattoo Removal Practitioner to join Inky Siren full-time and become an important part of the next stage of our growth.
We are particularly interested in someone who already has real hands-on professional experience carrying out laser tattoo removal treatments and understands the judgement, client care and treatment planning involved.
This is not a room-rental or self-employed position.
You’ll be employed directly by Inky Siren, with the machine, premises, marketing, client acquisition, booking infrastructure and consumables provided by us.
In the early stages, Laser will not necessarily occupy your entire working week. The remainder of your time will therefore involve helping manage the wider Inky Siren client experience — enquiries, bookings, follow-ups and client coordination.
As the Laser diary grows, we expect an increasing proportion of the role to become dedicated to treatments and developing the Laser department.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Delivering professional laser tattoo-removal treatments
- Consultations, skin assessments and patch testing
- Creating appropriate treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate treatment and clinical records
- Providing clear aftercare and managing clients throughout their removal journey
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, safety and treatment standards
- Following manufacturer guidance, insurance requirements and Inky Siren protocols
- Managing and following up Laser enquiries
- Rebooking clients and helping build long-term treatment relationships
- Supporting tattoo and Laser enquiries when not treating
- Helping coordinate appointments, deposits, cancellations and client communication
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience across Inky Siren
- Helping us continually improve the Laser service as the department develops
What we’re looking for
Hands-on professional laser tattoo-removal experience is essential.
We’re looking for someone who is confident actually carrying out treatments, rather than someone looking for their first entry into the industry.
Relevant laser/light qualifications and manufacturer training will be verified as part of the recruitment process.
Ideally you will also have experience in areas such as laser hair removal, advanced skin treatments, pigmentation, vascular treatments or other laser/light therapies, as these may become relevant as Inky Siren Laser expands.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Excellent with clients
- Reliable and highly professional
- Clinically conscientious
- Confident and knowledgeable
- Organised and responsive
- Passionate about delivering great treatment outcomes
- Comfortable working as part of a growing independent business
- Excited by the opportunity to help shape a new Laser department
Why join Inky Siren?
This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of something rather than simply inherit another clinic diary.
Inky Siren provides the infrastructure around you — brand, premises, machine, marketing, client acquisition and systems — allowing you to concentrate on delivering excellent treatments and client care.
We’re building Laser as a major part of the long-term Inky Siren business, so there is genuine opportunity for the role to develop as the department grows.
For somebody who eventually demonstrates the ability and desire to take greater ownership, there may also be future progression into senior or departmental leadership responsibilities.
If you’re an experienced Laser Practitioner and this sounds like the kind of environment you’d enjoy being part of, we’d love to hear from you.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Free parking
Application question(s):
