Matilda May Aesthetics is a premium medical aesthetics clinic based in Harpenden, providing advanced aesthetic, skin and beauty treatments in a professional, welcoming and client-focused environment.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lash & Brow Technician to join our growing team on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled beauty professional to work within a premium clinic environment, delivering high-quality lash and brow treatments and creating an exceptional experience for every client.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a range of professional lash and brow treatments, including: Brow waxing and shaping, Brow tinting, Brow lamination, Lash tinting, LVLs / lash lifts, Korean lash lifts, Classic lash extensions, Hybrid lash extensions, Volume lash extensions.
• Carry out professional consultations to understand each client's requirements and recommend suitable treatments.
• Complete patch tests where required and ensure all treatments are carried out safely and professionally.
• Deliver consistently high standards of treatment, with excellent attention to detail.
• Provide clients with appropriate aftercare advice.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and follow all clinic hygiene, health & safety and infection control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming treatment area.
• Build strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat bookings and client loyalty.
• Contribute positively to the wider clinic team and uphold the professional reputation of Matilda May Aesthetics.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Lash & Brow Technician or in a similar beauty role.
• Relevant and applicable qualifications for the treatments being offered.
• Confident and competent in lash extensions, including classic, hybrid and volume.
• Experience in brow lamination and lash lift treatments.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly and confident manner.
• Ability to work independently while also being a positive member of the wider team.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience working within a professional salon, beauty clinic or aesthetics environment.
• Experience with Korean lash lift treatments.
• Experience with LVLs.
• Experience across a wide range of brow and lash treatments.
• A portfolio or examples of previous work.
• Existing client base – advantageous but not essential.
• Passion for keeping up to date with the latest lash and brow techniques and trends.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled, reliable and professional, with excellent attention to detail and a natural ability to build rapport with clients. You should be confident working independently, while also enjoying being part of a friendly and growing team.

Salon experience would be desirable, but is not essential for the right candidate. We are particularly interested in someone who has strong technical ability, takes pride in delivering beautiful results and is committed to providing an excellent client experience.
