Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations Leadership

• Act as the regional operational lead for payroll delivery across LATAM countries.
• Ensure payroll services are delivered accurately, timely, and in compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor payroll calendars, critical milestones, and operational readiness across all countries.
• Lead issue resolution efforts and coordinate corrective actions for payroll incidents and escalations.
• Drive business continuity planning and operational risk mitigation strategies within payroll operations.

Vendor Governance & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary operational liaison between BD and external payroll providers.
• Lead regular operational reviews with payroll vendors to evaluate service performance, compliance, quality, and SLA achievement.
• Monitor and analyze vendor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Escalate and manage vendor-related risks, service failures, and compliance concerns.
• Ensure accountability and execution of vendor corrective action plans.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensuring payroll processes comply with local legislation, company policies, audit requirements, and governance standards.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll processes, controls, and documentation.
• Review and evaluate operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, process maps, and governance frameworks.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

• Identify opportunities for payroll process standardization and operational efficiency.
• Participate in payroll transformation projects, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Support implementation of new payroll models, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes.
• Collaborate with HR Technology, Shared Services, and cross-functional teams to optimize payroll-related processes.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related operational matters across LATAM.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Services, Finance, Legal, Total Rewards, and other business functions.
• Provide leadership with operational updates, risk assessments, trends, and strategic recommendations.
• Support executive reporting and governance reviews.
