Latchkey Coordinator and Program Administrator

Qualifications:

1. Be at least 21 years of age

2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in an early childhood education or child-related field preferred.

3. Associate’s degree in early childhood education acceptable.

4. Have completed 2 semester hours or 3.0 CEUs in child care administration.

5. Meet Child and Adult Licensing, Department of Human Services guidelines.

Job Duties:

1. Working with children ages 3 to 12 years old.

2. Having the ability to work with students with special needs.

3. Implements a team teaching model.

4. Leading small group activities.

5. Basic understanding of positive behavior intervention support.

6. Must obtain 22 clock hours of professional development.

7. Responsible for the general management of the center and licensing paperwork.

8. Shall assist the director in developing, implementing, and evaluating center policies.

9. Administering day-to-day operations including being available to address parent, child, and staff issues.

10. Monitoring staff, including an annual evaluation of each staff member.

11. Daily scheduling of children and staff.

12. Handling childcare schedules.

Salary: This position is located at Big Rock Elementary and Chesaning Middle School in Chesaning,

Michigan. This is a subcontracted position through EDUStaff.

Terms of Employment: Monday-Friday during all scheduled days, and summer months
