Lathe Operator

Job Responsibilities – Turner / Lathe Operator

• Operate and set up conventional lathe machines as per production requirements.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
• Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, grooving, and boring operations.
• Select and use appropriate cutting tools, holders, and measuring instruments.
• Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges, etc.
• Maintain required accuracy and surface finish as per drawing specifications.
• Inspect finished components and ensure quality standards are followed.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the machine and work area clean.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while operating machinery.
• Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve machining-related issues.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine utilization.
• Follow production targets, work instructions, and quality requirements.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
