Lathe Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional lathe machines for manufacturing and repair of components.
• Perform turning facing boring threading, grooving and other machining operations.
• Manufacture/ repair shafts, bushes, pins, spacers and other machine components.
• Read basic engineering drawings and understand dimensions/ tolerances.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
• Carry out dimensional inspection using vernier, micrometer and other measuring instruments.
• Perform machine setup and tool changes.
• Maintain lathe machine cutting tools and work area.
• Ensure component accuracy and surface finish as per requirement.
• Follow machine safety and workshop 5s practices.

Qualification: ITI/ Relevant qualification
Experience:

• 4-5 years of overall experience as a lathe operator.
• Industrial machine shop experience is preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
