Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications. The CNC Lathe Operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility and be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in every part produced.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilize CAD software, such as GibbsCam, to interpret designs and create machining programs.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong understanding of basic math concepts related to machining and measurements.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred.
• Proficient in using CAD software for programming CNC machines; GibbsCam experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and milling machines effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, particularly in quality control processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an assembly line environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
