Laundromat Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated laundry attendant that will work well under pressure to complete the daily goal. We strive to provide excellent customer service and expect you to follow suit. We are located in a difficult neighborhood named Little Haiti in the Flatbush area. We ask that you be polite and firm and have thick skin.

Responsibilities

• Handle drop offs, wash and fold 25 pounds per hour, 300 pounds per 12 hour shift.
• Assist customers with washers and dryers.
• Cash register usage, soap sales, and making change.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with using the card machine.
• Making sure that the laundromat is clean at all times.
• Alone most of the time, nobody helping you 7am- 7pm.

Requirements

• 3 months of wash and fold experience.
• English, Spanish, and Creole are a plus.
• Having the enthusiasm to learn and work under pressure getting the work completed.
