Laundry Aide

Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and Iroin equipment to ensure textiles are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens, and other textiles.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
• Follow safety standards in production areas, adhering to protocols for manual handling and sanitation to prevent accidents.
• Apply laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly while maintaining proper safety protocol adherence.
• Perform routine sanitation of laundry equipment and workspaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with customer service by responding to laundry requests and courteously, services provided.

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Basic math skills are necessary for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory levels accurately.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments ensures safe handling of heavy loads.
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation, including industrial dryers and textile cleaning equipment, is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving large loads or bulky items is essential.
• Strong attention to detail in sanitation practices guarantees the highest quality of laundry services delivered consistently.
• Excellent customer service skills help foster positive interactions with clients regarding their laundry needs.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
