Duties

• Operate laundry equipment such as industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning units to process textiles effectively.
• Handle materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Sort, fold, and organize linens, clothing, and other textiles with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely across the facility.
• Monitor laundry processes for quality control, ensuring textiles are cleaned according to specified standards.
• Follow safety procedures diligently when working with laundry detergents, chemicals, and heavy equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while adhering to safety protocol guidelines.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork.
• Familiarity with garment care machines, industrial dryers, textile cleaning techniques, including dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a lively work pace in a dynamic setting.
