Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to ensure thorough cleaning of textiles.
• Handle materials carefully, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens, clothing, or other fabric items.
• Use push carts and other tools to transport laundry safely within the facility while adhering to manual handling protocols.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly applying laundry detergents and cleaning agents according to safety guidelines.
• Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate records of laundry services performed and monitor inventory levels of supplies like detergents and cleaning agents.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures.
• Experience operating laundry equipment such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines.
• Ability to handle materials safely with proper manual handling techniques for heavy or bulky items.
• Understanding safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with residents or clients when needed.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
