Job Overview

As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your focus will be on efficiently managing laundry services, ensuring all linens and clothing are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized. Duties

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and resident personal items with care and precision
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure all laundry is properly sanitized
• Keep accurate records of laundry cycles and supplies used
• Assist with general cleaning duties in resident areas as needed to support overall facility hygiene
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and clothing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or healthcare laundry services is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, cleaning techniques, and infection control standards
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive team attitude
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
