Laundry Assistant

Our mission is to provide each client with a stellar experience of the event from conception through execution. We are looking for full time Warehouse Workers to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the receipt, preparation, and documentation of material being received and delivered to various locations.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products
• Manage tight deadlines and a fast-paced warehouse and distribution center
• Control and manage inventory
• Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse
• Enforce all company rules and regulations
• Inspect condition of tools and equipment
• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job

You will also be sorting linen according to fabric/size in order to get ready for transport to Laundry. Store/organize linen in it’s appropriate areas, according to fabric/size.

Mops floors in common facility areas on a daily basis as assigned. Vacuums carpeted floors on a daily basis as assigned. Performs special housekeeping tasks as assigned such as cleaning windows, vents, furniture, fixtures, hand rails, baseboards, equipment, etc. Advises supervisor of supply and equipment needs. As assigned and in accordance with established time frames, transports soiled laundry and event linens. Clean items/ rentals as needed on a timely basis. Must be must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of laundry and push heavy carts without assistance.

You must be reliable and have reliable transportation. Punctuality and dependability is very important. You must also have great customer service, be able to take direction from both co-workers and Management and stay on task. This position also requires you to have an open schedule and the flexibility to work weekends and early mornings/ late nights. Long periods of standing and heavy lifting.
