The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

Duties include:

• Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments

• Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments,

• Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required

• Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry

To be successful you will have

• Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.

• Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers

• Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team

• Valid working rights in Australia

• Complete a National P olice C heck and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
