Laundry Associate

Job Summary

The Laundry Assistant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distributing hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and sort soiled linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Wash, dry, iron, fold, and stack linen according to hotel standards.
• Check linen for stains, tears, damage, and missing items.
• Separate items according to fabric type, colour, and washing requirements.
• Ensure the timely delivery of clean linen to housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Handle guest laundry carefully and ensure timely return.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.
• Use detergents and cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, linen shortages, and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with linen inventory and stock-taking when required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
