We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring hotel linens and towels are cleaned, dried, folded, and prepared for daily guest room operations.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear
• Treat stained linens as needed
• Maintain appropriate levels of clean linen for housekeeping operations
• Keep the laundry room clean, safe, and organized
• Clean lint traps and perform routine cleaning of laundry equipment
• Stock and organize clean linens in designated storage areas
• Assist housekeepers with linen and supply needs
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance concerns to management
• Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning products
• Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and IHG standards
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed based on hotel operations

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
• Dependable and punctual with strong attendance
• Able to work independently and maintain an organized work area
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work as part of the housekeeping team

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Employees must be able to safely lift and move loads

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
