Laundry Attendant

Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.

Skills:

• Ability to clean and launder linens effectively.

• Knowledge of different fabrics and their care requirements.

• Attention to detail to ensure linens are properly cleaned and folded.

• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

• Good time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Good to have; alteration experience

Note: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
