Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of textiles.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, pressing, and organizing items efficiently.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
• Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine sanitation tasks and ensuring proper disposal of laundry detergents and chemicals.
• Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and providing courteous assistance.
• Monitor machine operation for optimal performance, troubleshoot issues when necessary, and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, or managing inventory.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments.
• Strong attention to detail for garment care, sorting, and quality control.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
