Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments within our establishment. As a Laundry Attendant, you will ensure that all laundry processes are executed efficiently, contributing to the overall guest experience in our Laundry industry.

Responsibilities

• Launder and clean various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Operate washing machines and dryers, following proper procedures for different fabric types.
• Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Wash, dry,fold, and iron linens, napkins, and tablecloths.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to Laundromat process.
• Spot treat items that need special attention.
• Daily cleaning the laundry store, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash,
• sweep and mop the floor.
• Maintain all the Laundry related paperwork.
• Greet our customers and guests.
• Sell laundry supplies.
• Organize all the items in the store as needed.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
