We are seeking an efficient individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant: Part Time, or Full Time. The Laundry Attendant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our spa by handling the washing, drying, and folding of all textiles used within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Wash, dry, and fold all linens, towels, robes, and other textiles used within the spa according to established standards and procedures.
• Inspect textiles for stains, tears, or damage and treat or report any issues accordingly.
• Ensure that all laundry is properly sorted, labeled, and stored in designated areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of clean linens and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry chemicals and operating machinery.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of clean linens and supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other spa staff members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the spa management team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo training as necessary.

Salary

$15.92 - $15.92 per hour
