Laundry Attendant

• Collect, sort, and process hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check laundry items for stains, damage, or missing pieces and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Measure and use laundry detergents, chemicals, and cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Fold, press, iron, and organize clean laundry according to hotel standards.
• Deliver clean linen, towels, and uniforms to the appropriate departments or storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.
• Follow all hotel standards for hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety.
• Handle laundry chemicals and equipment safely and report equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain proper inventory of linen and laundry supplies and report shortages when required.
• Assist with periodic deep cleaning and maintenance of the laundry area.
• Support the housekeeping team with other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel laundry, housekeeping, or commercial laundry operation is preferred.
• Good knowledge of laundry procedures and handling of different types of fabrics.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift/move laundry bags and linen.
• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
