Duties

• Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest items with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards
• Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate or special garments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of laundry loads and processing times for efficient workflow management
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and meet operational demands
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads and prioritize tasks effectively
