Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles efficiently.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing textiles according to type and care instructions.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely within the facility.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of machinery to prevent accidents.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents and cleaning agents, ensuring all equipment and work areas are clean and hygienic.
• Assist with textile cleaning processes including dry cleaning when necessary, following all safety standards in production.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and ensuring garments are returned in pristine condition.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, and textile care methods.
• Ability to operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in materials handling with experience using push carts or similar tools for heavy lifting tasks.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices, safety standards in production environments, and proper use of laundry detergents.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents or calculating load capacities.
• Understanding of safety protocol adherence during manual handling and operation of heavy machinery.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail in garment care.
