Laundry Attendant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality laundry services while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry washing using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure garments and linens are thoroughly cleaned.
• Operate push carts to transport laundry items efficiently within the facility.
• Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning laundry areas and equipment.
• Manage laundry services from collection to delivery, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Handle laundry detergents safely, following proper usage guidelines.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation protocols diligently.
• Physical stamina to lift, push, and carry laundry items and push carts as needed.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and detergents is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $10.00 per hour
