Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Laundry Attendant to support the daily operations of the hotel laundry department. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distributing hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and separate soiled linen, uniforms, guest laundry, and other textile items according to type, color, fabric, and washing requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, extractors, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload laundry equipment according to established procedures and equipment capacity.
• Measure and use laundry chemicals and detergents correctly and safely.
• Transfer washed items to dryers, pressing, ironing, or finishing areas as required.
• Assist with pressing, folding, sorting, and packing clean linen and garments.
• Inspect linen, uniforms, and garments for stains, damage, or quality issues and report them to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Ensure clean linen and uniforms are properly folded, sorted, stored, and distributed to the relevant departments.
• Assist with the collection and delivery of linen and uniforms to Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and other departments.
• Handle guest laundry carefully and ensure items are processed according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry equipment, work areas, storage areas, and linen rooms.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals and laundry equipment.
• Assist with linen and uniform inventory counts when required.
• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and laundry SOPs.
• Support the Laundry Supervisor and team with other laundry duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Previous hotel or resort laundry experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of commercial laundry operations, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and sorting.
• Knowledge of basic fabric care and stain removal is an advantage.
• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment and handle laundry chemicals.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced laundry environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• UAE hotel laundry experience is preferred.
• Experience handling high-volume hotel laundry operations is an advantage.
• Good understanding of hotel linen and uniform standards.
• Reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• UAE-based candidates are preferred.

Pay: AED900.00 - AED1,000.00 per month
