Laundry Attendant / Laundry Specialist

Simplicity Laundry Services

Kansas City Metro Area

More Than Laundry. We Give People Their Time Back.

At Simplicity Laundry Services, we believe clean laundry changes someone’s day. We’re a family-owned company built on integrity, excellence, and serving others with heart. Our customers trust us with some of their most personal belongings, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way—even when no one is watching.

What You’ll Do

● Wash, dry, fold, and package customer laundry with exceptional attention to detail.

● Inspect clothing for stains, damage, or special care instructions.

● Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and washing requirements.

● Match every completed order to the correct customer before packaging.

● Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

● Assist with loading and unloading washers and dryers.

● Follow all company procedures to ensure consistent quality.

● Communicate concerns immediately if something doesn’t look right.

● Occasionally assist with pickup and delivery preparation.

The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here

You may be a great fit if you:

● Have a servant’s heart and genuinely enjoy helping others.

● Believe honesty matters—even if it’s just returning a $10 bill found in a customer’s pocket.

● Pay close attention to details.

● Take ownership instead of making excuses.

● Show up on time, ready to work every day.

● Can stay focused without constant supervision.

● Work well as part of a team.

● Take pride in producing work you’re proud to put your name on.

● Understand that every order represents a customer who trusted us.

What Doesn’t Fit Our Culture

This probably isn’t the right position if you:

● Need to be reminded repeatedly to complete the same tasks.

● Spend more time on your phone than working.

● Look for reasons not to work instead of ways to help.

● Don’t believe details matter.

● Think “good enough” is good enough.

Requirements

● Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

● Ability to stand for extended periods.

● Reliable transportation.

● Authorized to work in the United States.

● Ability to read and follow written procedures.

● Laundry experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.

What We Offer

● Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

● Paid training.

● Positive, family-oriented work environment.

● Opportunity for advancement as our company grows.

● A workplace where integrity, respect, and teamwork truly matter.

Why Simplicity?

We measure success differently.

Success isn’t just dollars and cents.

Success is a customer telling their neighbor about us.

Success is earning trust one perfectly folded order at a time.

If you’re looking for meaningful work with a company that values people over profits, we’d love to meet you.
