Position Overview

The Laundry Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of all linens used throughout the hotel. This position ensures that housekeeping and guest service teams always have fresh, high‑quality linens available, supporting a smooth and consistent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently
• Sort linens by type and soil level; inspect items for stains or damage
• Treat stains using approved chemicals and procedures
• Fold, stack, and organize linens according to brand and property standards
• Maintain par levels for sheets, towels, blankets, and other linen categories
• Deliver clean linens to storage areas and retrieve soiled linens from housekeeping
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
• Follow all sanitation, chemical handling, and OSHA safety protocols
• Support housekeeping or other departments as needed during high‑volume periods

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in warm environments and around machinery
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
