Laundry Attendant

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks, such as washing and folding linens, and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Responsibilities

• Sorting linens, towels, and other laundry items by color, size, and material
• Stripping linens from guest rooms
• Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
• Unloading laundry from commercial dryers
• Cleaning and maintaining the laundry room area and equipment
• Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener

Qualifications

• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
