Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various items including linens, towels, and garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that delicate fabrics are handled with care.
• Inspect laundry items for stains or damages and take appropriate action to treat or report them.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments to various departments.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating laundry equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and moving laundry items.
