Laundry Attendant

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services. *Duties* - Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms. - Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. - Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. - Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces. - Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated appropriately. - Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while operating equipment. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning methods. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. - Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
