Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests, particularly in a hotel environment. In addition to laundry operations, the Laundry Attendant will assist in other housekeeping duties such as Room Attendant, Houseman, or Lobby Attendant as needed. Open availability is required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press laundry items according to established hotel procedures.
• Perform stain treatments and handle delicate/specialty items appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and storage areas.
• Inspect linens and garments for stains, tears, or damages and take appropriate action.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages to management.
• Ensure proper chemical usage and follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms, carts, and service areas.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed (guest room cleaning, public area upkeep, or houseman duties).
• Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow lost and found procedures for guest items.
• Uphold Marriott brand appearance standards, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or custodial services preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and processes (dry cleaning knowledge a plus).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and available for open scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time position
• Starting pay: $16/hour
• Open availability required for business needs.
