Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care.
• Handle laundry materials, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
• Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, stain removers, and cleaning agents while ensuring the cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist with customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely completion of services.
• Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper operation and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load capacities, and managing time efficiently.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards relevant to textile cleaning operations.
• Familiarity with garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in laundry processes.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
