Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles efficiently.
• Handle materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items using push carts or other equipment, ensuring items are correctly categorized for appropriate cleaning processes.
• Follow strict sanitation and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while adhering to safety protocols for handling chemicals.
• Perform routine inspections of laundry machines and equipment to identify maintenance needs or malfunctions.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to laundry services.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or textile handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly, including lifting laundry carts or large loads of textiles safely.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents or calculating load capacities accurately.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety protocols in production environments, and proper garment care procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during washing, drying, and finishing processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
