Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as washers, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process laundry efficiently.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents while adhering to safety protocols.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely around the facility.
• Follow safety procedures rigorously during manual handling tasks like lifting heavy laundry loads or operating machinery.
• Ensure the cleanliness of work areas by performing routine cleaning of equipment and surrounding spaces.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items regularly.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads accurately.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols is highly valued.
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and guests when needed.
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation, including industrial dryers and textile cleaning equipment such as dry cleaning machines.
• A proactive attitude towards sanitation practices, ensuring all textiles are cleaned according to industry standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
