Laundry Attendant - Full Time

Job Purpose:

• The Laundry Attendant at is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of linens, towels, and other laundry items to provide guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay. This full-time position requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers and dryers ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures and standards.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, and wear, ensuring that only items meeting quality standards are distributed for guest use.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels to guest rooms and other hotel facilities.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing excellent service to guests and colleagues.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment is advantageous.
