Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure textiles are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, pressing, and organizing linens, uniforms, and guest clothing.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents while adhering to safety protocols.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely within the facility.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy baskets or textiles while following proper safety procedures to prevent injury.
• Ensure all laundry processes comply with safety standards in production and textile cleaning regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring garments are returned clean, pressed, and in pristine condition.

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with garment care machines, industrial dryers, or dry cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math for measuring detergents or calculating load capacities accurately.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards related to textile cleaning and handling chemicals safely.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and standing for extended periods.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence in a production or hospitality environment.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a positive attitude toward providing top-quality laundry services.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
